    Pros

One the best things working at the corporate office is the people that work here. People genuinely care about you as an individual as well as an employee. While you are expected to perform, management provides direction and deadlines, but does not micromanage the details. There is a great sense of accomplishment being able to tackle issues on your own or together as a team as it relates to the company's successes.

    Cons

This is oil and energy company. That being said, maintaining employment can seem nerve racking in these times. My advice to current and future employees is to keep the communications lines open between yourself and your supervisor.

I have been working at Crescent Services (More than a year)

    Pros

I wrote a little review of my personal experience in the box below.

    Cons

I wrote a little review of my personal experience below.

    Advice to Management

I wish someone higher up would look into the, Crescent Company in DAMASCUS, ARKANSAS. The pay is alright The company cut everyone's perdim in half from ($25 a day) -to- ($15) a day. On top of that we dont harldy ever get them on time. I get see my wife and two little girls ONCE a month because i have to stay out of town so long. The supervisors are ridiculous and rude. I have been at this company for going on 3 years, but have 8 years of experience under my belt from previous companies. My family is going through a really ruff time and I get no support from my company what do ever. I have bent over backwards for "Crescent" when the company was afraid of losing everyone. I stayed and put my faith in them to later be let down once again. I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this to myself and my family.
Is anything ever going to change?

I worked at Crescent Services (More than a year)

    Pros

The mid and low level management were knowledgeable of the processes and jobs. The employees are genuinely nice people.

    Cons

The pay and hours were really messed up when I worked for this company. I was working upwards of 100 hours a week on salary plus overtime compensation which came up to less than minimum wages.

I worked at Crescent Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get a ton of hours

    Cons

Horrible starting pay and they give false hope of advancement.

    Advice to Management

Get better tools and more of them. Also I found that hardware was very scarce and we were constantly barrowing from other yards. we were always short on tools and needed better gameplans for the day.

    Pros

They will hire anyone. Matching 401k.

    Cons

15.50$ an hour with Chinese overtime. If you don't know what that is...I'll tell you; it's horrible! Tough work in the field, often boring, work for weeks straight sometimes with no days off. Worked a minimum of 80 hours a week. No thank yous from management.

    Advice to Management

Set rotating schedules with days off. Get rid if the Chinese overtime.

    Pros

Everything has been great working for Crescent the DM has had my back when I had to go out of town he offered to overnight my check he was very good at making me feel secure. My pay is 11/hr but after 40 hrs i get 16.50/hr and we hit 40 hours after 2 days so my checks are 1900 for 2 weeks.

    Cons

There are no cons, if you a hard worker everything will be fine for you. Wish the pay was weekly instead of bi weekly.

    Advice to Management

    Make the pay weekly

I worked at Crescent Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Provide decent insurance. If you are anxious to get out in the oil field, well, they hire anyone. However, start looking for a job after you get the hang of things.

    Cons

Pay is slave wages. You work 70-80 hours a week and bring about 1300/bi-weekly.

    Advice to Management

Compete. You have competition everywhere and y'all don't seem to care about name recognition. Put your employees ahead of profit. When I worked there I saw 15 employees come and go in 3 months. How is that good for business?

I worked at Crescent Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Easy to get on with.

    Cons

Horrible hours and pay. Pay you a salary way below what other oil companies pay, then refuse to pay overtime. Give you "compensation pay" instead, which starts once you reach 40 hours. It starts at roughly half your hourly rate (~$8.00) and decreases the more overtime you work. My last full check was $1364 for 129 hours of work...In the OILFIELD!

    Advice to Management

Don't hire someone then lie to them about why you're letting them go. That's low.
