    Best Company Driver Pay

    May 6, 2022 - Trucker
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

They offer the best company pay out of all the large name companies.

    Cons

Night Shift can’t help you much. Most of the operations crew doesn’t communicate with the rest of operations. It always feels like nobody knows what’s going on.

Worth it to be a company driver

Dec 14, 2021 - Class A Truck Driver in Lincoln, NE
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Great pay and miles. Easy locations to get in and out of. New trucks. Plenty of regional and local opportunities around the country.

    Cons

Management doesn’t communicate well with drivers. We use a point system for safety. There is no written or clear points system level of violations. You can get fired for 10 bad points or 20 bad points, the Safety department doesn’t make it clear to the driver, it’s just up to the discretion of the Safety department and if they like you. We don’t have breakdowns often but when you do, you only get paid if you choose to accept any work opportunities they give you which usually includes recovering abandoned (nasty) trucks, use a day cab to drive around in and sleep in hotels, or if there isn’t work available this would be the only time they would pay you breakdown pay (it rarely happens because they always have trucks to recover, trailers to move, or day cabs to use as a loaner).
