I worked at Crexendo part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Crexendo did have some good benefits and incentives available to employees, but I was never sure how to get those rewards (see below), and only rarely got them. They were also very flexible with my schedule, which was great when I worked there part time as a college student.

    Cons

Because of how process oriented it was, I never felt like I had the opportunity to really make a difference at the company or improve how things were done. Tasks were tracked in 15 minute increments, which got a little frustrating. In the end it actually lowered my productivity because I was so worried about completing tasks in the allotted time instead of doing them well.

    Pros

Great company to build your customer service skills.

    Cons

Sufficient tools and engineering support to truly address customer issue, dependent upon level of support that is needed.

    Advice to Management

Share company strategic direction with employees.

I worked at Crexendo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, flexible hours, clear mission, great product, nice working environment.

    Cons

Founder is a little too hands-on and should allow his executives to run the business with less intervention.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I have been working at Crexendo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pay is ok and the insurance benefits are great for a smaller company.

    Cons

Sr management members do not communicate with one another and they all have their own agenda.

    Advice to Management

Owner is clueless about what goes on in his own company but continues to fund a sinking ship. It is really sad because he has previously built very lucrative businesses, but this is certainly not one of them.

    I worked at Crexendo full-time

    Pros

I loved working at Crexendo! My former boss was the best support; he was super patient with me learning the technology. It was easy to get to know upper management as well - it seemed like everyone was willing to help out or give feedback when asked, and the sales director would always let me use her Keurig. The atmosphere is also just really fun, I always looked forward to going to work. Plus, the birthday celebrations every month really helped me get to know employees from other departments.

    Cons

I'm honestly struggling to come up with any real 'cons' of working at Crexendo. I guess one con is sitting in front of a computer all day, but I think a lot of jobs require the same thing. Also, there isn't a lot of natural light in the cubicle area, but the break room had a lot of light so I would eat my lunch in there or on the porch outside.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to get people really pumped up about working there when they are first hired to build a stronger company culture at first. After a while though, people can't even help but getting pumped to work there!

    Pros

Free water. Access to restrooms. There's parking. If you ask nicely, they might provide you with some pens. CEO seems nice enough, but never really talked to him.

    Cons

I have never been so micromanaged in my life. If you love having someone breathe down your neck every five seconds, this is the place for you! There is zero work/life balance and you are expected to drop everything on a moment's notice if it comes from the top. There are some serious problems with the leadership team.

    Advice to Management

A rejuvenation in the leadership team would do wonders for this place. Systems are antiquated and processes are ridiculous.

    Pros

Benefits are ok, coworkers are nice

    Cons

Management does not listen to employees. Works employees to burn out level then replaces them. Most employees have been recruited from managements failed business enterprises. There is no work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Quit pretending that you are a progressive company when you are just another tech sweatshop.
