    Pros

Nice colleagues and friendly managers made for an excellent social and emotional experience, as well as convenient location in the heart of town.

    Cons

Just a very average job that didn't really improve on my out look at all, just served as a filler for a while.

    Advice to Management

    Improve size of store

I worked at Crosby's Market full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Paid Time off is good

    Cons

you never will get the chance to use any of that PTO if you wish to succeed. Long long hours and very few days off. Immense pressure and inconsistency of upper management causes friction on a store level.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to let their managers manage. If you are a manager you should be treated like one and not like a child. Management needs to understand that their workers are only human and for the most part do their best.

    Pros

    Benefits weren't bad. Good coworkers.

    Cons

Immediate manager refused to listen to me concerning freight elevator not working most of prior day and never appologized to me after hearing almost verbatim from another depts. senior manager commented on it being down most of day. Didn't replace people retiring and took time replacing worker that died. Deli workers pulled from other stores to avoid hiring more help. Receiving computer system 10 years old and printer needs replacement. No generators when power is down.Employee was allowed to harrass others because he receives SSI although there were numerous complaints from many.

    Advice to Management

Update old receiving computers and printers, get generators for registers for when power goes down. Replace help when you know they are retiring or not coming back.
