    Pros

Employees are really trusted, they can work autonomously and reply on their own expertise instead of having to follow standard solutions and being controlled

    Cons

Growing company that currently still suffers from the former start up mentality, which is often used as an excuse for basic processes that are not in place or not working properly

I have been working at CrossKnowledge full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great environnement to learn and develop at the crossroads of the B2B tech business and digital learning area. The offices are full of young and great people doing their best. and taking initiatives. The company was brought by a big american old-fashioned business. ON the bright side, thaty means that the company is growing fast thanks to their investments and the internationalization opportunities. Backedup with a... great economic rent that sustain growth, it's always more easy to work with serenity.

    Cons

The company was brought by a big american old-fashioned business mean also that they are slowly killing what made this company storng with no identified decision makers, no HR, no technological leadership and strategies have been replaced by selling tactics... Everything is made for sales and by sales from the start. That was a strengh in the past but is leading to uncontrolled maladjustments like promotions for... people who know how to sell themselves instead of working, huge salary gaps between the sales and the others, lack of focus on the quality of the products etc... The strong focus on values, selfcongratulations and the good sales results are hiding a decay of the identity and the long term strengh of the company.

    Pros

    - awesome colleagues - great company project, great solutions and products - very international company - many opportunities on a growing market - flexible hours, flexible workplace - free coffee and free wifi

    Cons

    - minimum comp & ben policy, just enough to comply with the law (below industry standards) - senior management is very growth and sales driven (which is good for the sustainability of the company and for our jobs!) but there is no real HR / talent policy to develop people skills (poorly shod shoemaker) > you have to self develop and build your own path. Not a good fit for you if you're not autonomous and... proactive

    Advice to Management

Walk the talk, invest more on people development and recruitment of quality people. We need top talent, not average people, but this cannot be achieved without minimum investment.
