I have been working at CrossLend full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - The potential of the business is exciting to say the least - Steep learning curve, as in you learn a lot on a day-by-day basis - Enthusiasm of young core coupled with the experience and wisdom of more senior employees - Approachable management - Smart and genuine people to work with and around - City and office building per se should be a plus for anyone - All the perks coming with a startup workplace -... free drinks, regular team events, table tennis / football + didn't know how pets at work can really boost productivity! All together, a family environment that you're happy to work in and be part of.

    Cons

    - Minor interdepartmental lack of communication - Sometimes not crystal clear what is required from you Both to be expected in an early-stage company that is still figuring out how to reach its max potential.

I have been working at CrossLend for less than a year

    Pros

Fintech is completely sidelining the traditional banking and finance system. Super flexible, work from home & remote working options. Well equipped office. Very friendly and genuinely good people on the team! Lots of multinational talent, making up more than half of the companies staff profile.

    Cons

More corporate than techie hence it’s office location in potsdamer platz. However it’s a relaxed dress office so still ok!!

    Pros

-Amazing Vision but not anchored in reality -Young people with a mix of nerds and bankers in Tshirts -Enthusiastic people employed -Good location

    Cons

-Lossmaking business behaving like as if being already on the roll with free drinks and the typical silicon valley goodies -Gives the impression of a kindergarten on steroids -Will likely be disrupted as an overextended business model -No real management team

    Advice to Management

    I worked at CrossLend

    Pros

Nice view on Tiergarten. Free Club Mate- imagine! What a perk.

    Cons

Most chaotic environment I ever worked at. There is lots of talent! But slackers playing table football and drinking ClubMate and feel real important Too cool for school. No life experience but attitude like high rollers. No open communication. Mostly people back step you. No strategy. Good talented people are leaving or will be. (should be- you are way too good, and you know who you are!)

    Advice to Management

Get off that high horse Oliver, I had more competent manager. You are far away from being an inspiring leader /motivator.
