    You can find better employers

Apr 17, 2019 - Showroom Consultant in Denver, CO

    Pros

You can come in late or call in sick every time the weather is bad and let your co-workers be short handed.

    Cons

Very little communication. Strange choice for HR personnel. Boring tile choices. Give raises like everyone else. Involve yourselves with the staff rather than staying upstairs in a room where we rarely see you. Have regular staff meetings to stay in touch with what is actually happening on the sales floor. Create ways to build relationships and create a work family.

    Pros

Exciting products, super great marketing, fair pay. Company has great support from the holding company including wonderful benefits.

    Cons

Company is in transition due to large acquisitions...poor communication. Really weak Regional management. Too much emphasis on operations versus sales.

    Pros

There are a few good managers and good people that work there.

    Cons

Although there a lot of managers, leadership is lacking. There is a lot of talk but not a lot of action. People are not held accountable.

My experience is like dealing with an extremely competent father and a lazy and no good mother as upper management.

    Pros

They offer a good insurance policy and benefits. The company is really low key and tries to treat each branch as if it were its own local business.

    Cons

There is relatively no upward mobility in a career. The pay is extremely low. The amount that some in management feel about keeping the company successful is not as high as it should be.
