I worked at Crown Trophy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a good work environment, can be fast pace at times, which I like.

    Cons

It's not a career job, but a good one if you're looking for a little extra cash.

    Advice to Management

It's a franchise so I'm not sure how other locations are but I really enjoyed my management.

I have been working at Crown Trophy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I enjoy seeing a project through from order to completion, designing and producing quality awards, and I've learned a lot about running a small business.

    Cons

There's a lot of details to know, so it's easy to make mistakes. With so many factors, there's not a clear set of procedures for new employees to follow, so you often learn by finding out you screwed up.

    Advice to Management

Corporate should give franchise owners clear training procedures so newbies aren't caught flat footed when they climb the learning curve.

I worked at Crown Trophy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

In my position, I was able to control whether I wanted to work in production, or art, or sales on a day-to-day basis. The culture was very laid back, but also demanding when in the busy seasons of the year

    Cons

Leadership can be hit or miss and organization was lacking at times

    Pros

Interesting work, get to be creative, good to see your finished work impress the customers.

    Cons

Just because someone can afford to own a franchise, this doesn't make them a good manager/leader.

    Advice to Management

Keep all employees on the same page on the same page and don't be afraid to work yourself.
