    Pros

    hours and pay was good

    Cons

    always understaff
     never request off

    Advice to Management

the management should really get on hiring more staff so there wont be just two waitresses in the morning all the time. Also should be more respectful to their staff

I worked at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Moderate tips overall plus hourly rate
Benefits (which is rare in food/beverage industry)
    Flexibility in schedule

    Cons

    Same thing every day
It's a franchise, and depending on which location you're working at management could be either really on top of their game or all over the place
Inconsistent Business (sometimes weeks of coming to work for less than $20 in tips)
Really bad roach problem at both of the locations I worked at

    Advice to Management

I realize its hard to ensure steady business at a hotel that isn't in a tourist area, especially during winter months.... but still, it's really difficult to keep up with bills when you make about $2500 a month, and then drop down to about $1100/month randomly throughout the year. Also, I shouldn't feel intimidated or worried I'm going to lose my job if a co-worker doesn't show up and I'm asked to come in when I've already made prior arrangements. One last thing, the roach problem is disgusting. I shouldn't have to swat away bugs before the guest sees them just because you guys don't want to take the problem seriously.
