    I worked at CryoLife full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    CryoLife makes products that save actual lives and limbs. More than half of the "office" consists of R&D labs, tissue processing facilities, surgical theaters, and lecture space. It can be a fascinating place to work.

    Cons

    As a medical devices manufacturer that deal with donated human tissue, CryoLife is justifiably careful and cautious with all aspects of manufacturing, processing, storage, QA, testing, and shipment. They have literal books of processes for everything. Unfortunately, that mentality and control permeates all other aspects of the business as well.     Pros

    Pretty nice building, security is courteous and helpful, decent job training regimen.

    Cons

    Terrible management: Never have a I felt "used" so much that at a job like this. Felt like I was treated poorly by management and taken advantage of. Others were not treated in this same way. Pay is not so great for line of work, they seem to take advantage of recent college graduates with the promise of insurance benefits, etc, but in return give them such low wages for work.
