I have been working at CryoLife full-time

    Pros

Nice, clean office The paychecks don't bounce.

    Cons

Rules and regulations, intimidation, bullied, overworked, no work-life balance. They regulate EVERYTHING. Down to what what kind of pen you can use (ink only, not gel), how many pictures you can have on your desk (1 only), you cannot eat anything at your desk, and you must pour all drinks in a styrofoam cup WITH a lid, as if you are 2 years old. You are not allowed post-it...

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people, not machines. Try looking at your employees in the eye instead of avoiding them at all costs. We work hard and would like that remembered once in a while instead of being treated like dirt under your shoe.

I have been working at CryoLife

    Pros

Medical benefits, dental, 401k, holiday party, decent coworkers, not much more to say than that, which says a whole lot.

    Cons

poor facilities, poor pay, poor direction from upper management, underappreciation of employees, disrespect for work life balance, cameras watching you at all times (I'm not kidding)

    Advice to Management

I wouldn't lay off 10% of your staff and then hold a meeting to tell the remaining members of the staff that everything is great. I also wouldn't then go forwarding press releases declaring record revenues while there was layoffs a few months ago and a current salary freeze, it lowers morale.
