really no cons about the company itself. the work is tough thanks to the tech market being a nightmare so roles can be scarce but that’s not really on the company. i guess the only thing is that you can take time off but it’ll mess up your numbers if you take off too much time. i often feel like i can’t/shouldn’t take time off or else i won’t meet my metrics for the month which is annoying but that’s sales for ya

Pros

Crystal Equation is a Managed Service Provider for Meta, serving as one of the three top vendors. Many of their requisitions are full-time positions rather than contract roles. The compensation is commensurate with Meta and high compared to industry averages. Everybody has the option to work remotely or on-site at Meta locations. The team is international and represents diversity in backgrounds and experiences. Service Delivery Managers responsible for the practice are knowledgable, experienced, and supportive. Supervisors are directly invested in the success of their reports, and go out of their way to make social events enjoyable. I consider my colleagues to be very friendly, helpful, communicative, and collaborative. The service is growing in contrast to cutbacks in Meta's expenditures elsewhere, as we're providing an essential service to their back office. I feel that Crystal Equation provides provides strong growth opportunities and a working environment that's conducive for learning.

Cons

There are very few cons as a Crystal Equation employee, aside from not being eligible for Meta's employee stock options and access to fitness facilities.

I always feel it is "Working with Crystal Equation" rather than "Working at Crystal Equation", the reason being we are always engaged in the streamline. News and any kind of information is passed at the required moment and transparency always exists which can be sometimes a rare virtue found in other organizations. People here are courteous and respectful. Luv it.

Great HR and makes their employees feel really valued. They listen... I requested a design manager and they hired one. Really good benefits for a contracting gig (401k with 6% match, generous PTO, commuter benefits) Never-ending contract and feel job security, lots of money budgeted for team events. Generous pay for people early in their career

Cons

Doesn't have authority to override rules made by Meta i.e. no more hybrid model for non FTEs Career growth within the company is a bit ambiguous and it's unclear how long promotions will take / how much money raise will be. Sometimes I feel like they keep people in their current level as long as possible
