    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Cubic as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Upper management is very employee friendly. They definitely have the employee's best interest in mind. I am happy to be employed by Cubic.

    Cons

The time accrual rate is a bit low for employees who are not with the company for at least seven years.

    Advice to Management

Keep taking care of your employees and they will take care of you.

I have been working at Cubic full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay is good, environment is professional.

    Cons

Horrible, horrible insurance. Does not meet the minimum requirements of the affordable healthcare act, yet they are given a waiver since they're a government contractor. Yearly coverage limit is <$30,000, whereas the affordable health care act says there can be no yearly coverage caps, and if there are, they can't be less than $1.25 mil.

They're happy if you have to stay late, off the clock, but try to leave 5 minutes early, and you'll get written up.

    Advice to Management

Stop showing contempt for your employees, provide them with real benefits. Nobody at my site can afford a single hospital visit.
