I have been working at Cubic full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers. Young, lively and enthusiastic department. Very supportive line managers. Good internal training. Prospects to manage small teams within a couple of years.

    Cons

The work can be quite repetitive at times. The skills learnt in this role are not very transferable to other companies. Pay rises are sometimes difficult to come across.

    Advice to Management

The management seems good. I do not really have enough experience in industry to give any advice. The company prospects seem good and staff seem happy.

I worked at Cubic full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team members are good but they keep leaving.
Plenty of overtime as they dont have staff. You can work 30days a month.

    Cons

Worse department in the company to work for.
Short of staff every month. Every month they hire staff by the time they get there CRB half of them leave the company. No training at all. If you advice or complain to team leaders you get disciplinary. Old staff have all the privileges nobody question them for coming late every day. The job Description is totally wrong you are there to answer phone calls all the day and get abuse from customer. Wont recommend if you can think out of the box and progression is only happen when someone leaves and they dont have time to advertise the job. Everyone in the department from old team have left for good. There is nothing called health and safety.
One day an old employee complain about the load of work left by day team for night shift the team leader took him in the office which is glass office and we can hear the abuse the lady turn the radio volume up so we cant hear anything.

    Advice to Management

This department take the direct hit from customers the mess your other departments make. Somebody needs to wake up and check why there 3 =5 vacancies every month.

  3. "Terrible electronics"

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Nothing special, relaxed atmosphere, free coffee, etc

    Cons

They are absolute electronic rookies. In other sectors they would have gone out of business in a whim. Mechanical and software may be okay, but don't think so as well.

    Advice to Management

when things are obvious speaking is unnecessary.
