I have been working at Cullen/Frost Bankers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Frost is generally a great place to work, paid vacation time for part time employees, benefits, most people are great, and customers are loyal.

    Cons

Management has taken a down turn, the pay is not competitive, too many changes occurring in a short amount of time with no real opportunity for input from employees which makes it easy to become unhappy. Communication could also be improved.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and communicate!

I worked at Cullen/Frost Bankers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company values their employees like I've never seen before. If they need you lunch cut shorter they provide lunch, they ask for volunteers to work more hours. They aren't strict with OT if you want it and there's a need, you got it.

    Cons

It is a very high volume call center so it can be challenging, must have patience. But I think it's definitely worth it.

    Advice to Management

Everything you're doing is great, maybe push online banking more to customers.

    Pros

It is a great company, being a small bank has its pros and cons. We are very united as a bank, it's easy to navigate through and know most of your other markets and lines of bussiness. What we stand for is a great. Great mission statement

    Cons

Need More Position opening, and more loyal employees. Stop letting go of good employees and stop hiring people who won't commit to their job.

    Advice to Management

Always remember the Frost Mission statement, a lot of what people see is who is out in our financial centers. Pay a little more attention to who we hire and who we let go.

    Pros

Nice people. Great building. Intelligent management.

    Cons

Lack of support from senior management, Lack of women in management within IT and operation.. Management hired from other countries and there is a lack of respect for women. Difficult to move up. Very political

Understand we are in a new era and women are equal. Make sure to develop leadership for women. Move non performing managers in IT out. Actually follow through with Blue Book guidelines.
