      Pros

Organizational culture is relaxed, friendly, and open to diversity. Very "uncorporate" and not stuffy. Staff have sense of humor.

      Cons

Pay is low and sales are rewarded more than customer service.

      Cultural Care Au Pair Response

Dear Local Childcare Consultant, We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience with Cultural Care Au Pair as one of our consultants for au pairs and host families. As you know, the Local Childcare Consultant position is a contracted one and therefore the pay is not comparable to a full-time salary. That being said, we offer a variety of different ways for LCCs to earn additional incentives—from additional compensation to the opportunity for international travel. We are extremely grateful for our LCCs’ dedication to (and their role in) creating global families—especially this past year throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We are glad to hear you’ve appreciated the cultural exchange aspect of this position and wish you the best with your future endeavors. Kind regards, The Cultural Care Recruitment & Employee Team

      Pros

Low pay, when you try to make changes, or give them feedback regarding your group, your manager won't listen. They replace LCC quite quick.

      Pros

They usually staff good people. Nice new building. Bar on the first floor. Parties were fun. Cafeteria was decent. They call it college 2.0.

      Cons

They call it college 2.0. Overly profit driven. Low pay. Moves around the company are lateral rather than vertical. Mostly meaningless. You feel replaceable because you are. Office was too cold. People who play ping pong on their breaks are annoying.
