    Pros

    Busy. Good for minor children.

    Cons

    Chaos. Dead end for adults.

    Advice to Management

The business is designed for people who are robots. Not for the thinking person. Quit having children run your business.

    I worked at Culver's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pays better than similar franchises. Flexible hours. 50% off while working, 25% off otherwise. Busy restaurants, shifts go by pretty fast.

    Cons

Much harder on you than your average burger joint. Be ready to have a manager watching you at all times. Probation period for first 90 days and they will fire you for anything so stay in line and don't play the line. They calculate costs of everything and do not tolerate any wasted product. To the point where they would remind me how many pennies each peanut is worth. No joke.

    Advice to Management

Relax. It's a top notch restaurant but don't over do it with perfection and pinching pennies. Also, I'm aware this kind of issue is mainly rooted in the executives also being major penny pinchers.

    I worked at Culver's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free food, great friendships with customers and co workers. Great owners and some good managers. Great food served to customers.

    Cons

The general manager and the assistant manager sucked. They never had the back of the management team. They let a female manager do what she wanted but never no discipline.

    Advice to Management

    Start having managers Backs more

    I worked at Culver's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

can pick up plenty of hours.
I am sure some Culver's, somewhere out there is managed well.

    Cons

    never enough help in kitchen
too many employees working in guest area not helping, while the kitchen is inadated with orders, while dirty dishes pile up keeping employees well past the scheduled closing time.
If scheduled to close you never know when you are actually going to be able to leave.

very poor pay for working like a dog

    Advice to Management

management isn't treated well, by owner/owners.
Allow the crew members working in the guest area to help clean and stock kitchen.

    I worked at Culver's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're social, you'll get along with a lot of employees! I became very close with my coworkers. Food is not bad. Pay is over minimum wage. Can be flexible with school/work hours.

    Cons

Management was terrible when I worked there. Although most of the management that I had a problem with has since quit, there is still one manager that shouldn't be working there. Has sexually harassed the employees and despite multiple complaints to the boss, has yet to be suspended or fired. The owner of the store is super nice, but he's a pushover. To my knowledge, he has only fired one person face to face. Everyone else that has left has quit or fired because of no-call-no-shows, which is essentially them quitting. Terrible work hours. Would not give you the hours you asked for. On a good week, I could get 18 hours a week. Definitely showed favoritism.

I have been working at Culver's part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

This is definitely the kind of job for those who are geared toward customer service. Skills can be honed and perfected in such a place.

    Cons

Not the kind of environment to work in for those who tend to be self centered. Customers needs are paramount.

    Advice to Management

Choose carefully those who can most benefit the company in this area. There is no room for being self centered.

Friendly work environment, good upstanding company to work for, delicious food

    Cons

Employee drama, not a lot of advancement, employee discount only applies if at work.

    Advice to Management

Employee discount should be all the time. More advancement opportunities
