I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It's the company you want to be at if you want to be in a start up. Unlimited vacation, food, activities, good money, big room for growth

    Cons

Because we are growing so quickly, you really need to get higher-ups attention if you want something because there is so much going on. Just be proactive about communicating with your manager because no one is going to hold your hand if you don't ask for help

I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It's a job. They pay you well. They treat you fairly. What more could you ask for?

    Cons

Too willing to accommodate whimsical complaints from weak employees.

    Advice to Management

Stop catering to the whiners. You're doing just fine. Just keep in mind that you can't make everyone happy. Turnover is unavoidable in tech.

I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The folks who work at Curalate are unparalleled. This is easily the most intelligent, motivated, inspiring group of folks I've ever had the pleasure to work with. The environment is friendly and open, no question goes unaddressed. You get to see the direct impact your work is having on the organization, no matter the role. Not something you typically get in the work place.

    Cons

After 2+ years of working at Curalate, it is really tough to come up with a con. You get out what you put into this organization, particularly with the extracurricular activities. The more people you meet and befriend (easy thing to do), the more fun you'll have.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. Your dedication to company values and the workforce shines through every day. The effort that is put into making Curalate the best company it can be truly shows.

I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

I've been at Curalate for 4+ years now. The market keeps expecting more, the competitive landscape keeps getting more challenging, and our platform has evolved from focusing solely on Pinterest analytics to being a comprehensive social/ecom martech platform. It has been a roller coaster to say the least! This has proven to be a unique environment where people can grow incredibly quickly. I've seen software engineering...

Fast paced startup environment isn't for everyone. Following marching orders is not enough. You're expected to think strategically, figure things out for yourself, and get sh*t done. If you wait for someone to tell you how to do something, it's not going to get done. Everyone has an opportunity to make a real impact on the company's future. This can be a lot of pressure, but also an opportunity to learn + grow...

I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    - Really strong culture that fosters growth. People are really happy to work here and they have a smile on their faces at the office. It's a warm and welcoming environment across departments. - The product is extremely useful + applicable in today's eCommerce/retail market - Our VP of People has been an awesome addition in terms of enhancements to our overall benefits, culture/engagement, and policies.

    Cons

As a tech company, it can get stressful at times, but this is the norm for a company this size.

    Advice to Management

Continue to foster transparency and maintain the open dialogue.

I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

I've been with Curalate for over four years now and it's been an overwhelmingly positive experience. I've made lifelong friends, I've met with some the biggest brands in the world, I've gotten mentorship from some of the smartest people around, and I've had to scrub my toddler's hands for touching a taxidermied squirrel (Which, yes, disgusting...but try to look at the silver-lining here: it's a family-friendly office...

Change is the only constant. This can be understandably frustrating for employees. Ultimately, even at five years in, we're still an evolving start-up in a rapidly changing martech landscape so, in many instances. this change is inevitable. Transparency is a work in progress, but getting better. Again, setting employee expectations here is important. Leadership is infinitely more transparent than what one would expect...

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to employee feedback. Keep iterating on things that don't quite work. Keep celebrating the things and people that do work.

I have been working at Curalate full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Culture - Transparency across orgs. Even as an engineer you celebrate every sale and mourn every loss. - High integrity. People admit when they were wrong or when they don't know something. Then they step up to figure it out. - No politics. No asking permission. - Data driven decisions. - Fun atmosphere if you like casual office environment, open floor plans, and office sponsored happy hours and events (once did...

    Cons

    - Basic benefits covered (Medical/Dental/401K), but there is still work to do. - Engineers give a lot of interviews and phone screens. Not much choice here. I get it. - Some organizational growing pains right now as we scale the team up. Temporary I hope!

    Advice to Management

    - Take another look at benefits and add more basics like an HSA option or look for unique things to offer. - Relentless Execution!
