    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Cyfluent full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Ever since the management changed, the work environment is a million times better. The previous president was bought out due to a toxic work environment. The engineers are left alone to finish their work, instead of being continually pulled into meetings and having their priorities shift with the wind. There are no more emails from the president in caps-lock with curse words. There's actually a project plan, and the...

    Cons

If you are an engineer you sometimes get pulled into business development, which might not be your preference (or, it may be and you just don't know it yet!). There still aren't even close to enough hours in the day to get your work done.

    Advice to Management

Whenever a new project comes in, please hire more engineers (preferably very senior). We have a huge backlog of work, and we let go of the reason all the other senior engineers quit.

    Negative Outlook

    I worked at Cyfluent full-time

    Pros

Committed staff initially who embraced and believed in the mission of the organization; hard working cohesive staff borrowed from company of part owner.

    Cons

Owner didn't have realistic understanding or expectations about market; consistently encouraged highly unethical (borderline illegal) business practices. Steer clear of this organization or the front company, ProtoMed.

    Advice to Management

Remove the President from the day-to-day operations and hire a COO to run the company and manage the owner's ROI.

    I worked at Cyfluent

    Pros

Absolutely no pros that I can think of.

    Cons

I don’t think I have enough time to describe the cons. CEO gets super angry over EVERYTHING. If you like to get screamed at about the Keurig having no water, then this is the place for you. Also, always make sure that there are forks, spoons, and knives – or, you guessed it, you’ll get screamed at and you’ll get a door shoved in your face – literally. CEO is childish and cheap. If you get called in to their office, don’t...
