I have been working at Cymer full-time

    Pros

great health benefits, retirement plan, free vision, yearly bonus

    Cons

losing personal space due to Activity Based Workspaces, seem like Dutch are trying to make us fit their plan without caring about American needs

    Advice to Management

Stop making us like them and take the local opinion into account...we aren't Dutch. We don't care about what's happening over there, we care that our footprint in San Diego is being wiped away with the merger. Find a local charity and sponsorship to still allow us to be part of the community here!!!

I have been working at Cymer as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company really cares about developing talent internally. Once securing one intern position the company bent over backwards to find me two more successive positions to retain me. The company truly cares about work life balance it's not just lip service. Flexible working arrangements are not stifled and onsite foosball, yoga, bootcamp, ping pong and even beach volleyball and basketball are celebrated along with encouraging community outreach and good will.

    Cons

None to speak of except the commute to Rancho Bernardo from downtown each day isn't made any easier by the appealing state of traffic management on the 15/163.
