Top Review Highlights by Sentiment
- "Those at the top have no leadership and worry only about themselves and do not know how to recognize talent." (in 7 reviews)
- "Upper management Is oblivious to what is really going on with some of their middle managers." (in 5 reviews)
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Awesome collaboration, true family feel
Cons
Navigating change can be a challenge
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
A fast paced environment working with innovative technology
Cons
The multiple levels of management are closed minded, making strategic decisions without full understanding of consequences. Very tragic to see an incredible team be demolished by poor leadership.
- Former Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
At this point in time while under the control of an investment firm there are so many other very good companies in need of good people. Look elsewhere
Cons
Company used to have it together. They are now owned by an investment firm. They were sold( Fired) from Hologic 2 years after they purchased them for a significant loss. If you are looking for a career or to purchase Aesthetic Equipment I suggest you look elsewhere. Many of the core people were laid off or have left. Check Glass door and see how the reviews on how the interview process has been lately. If you value your time and career growth I suggest you look elsewhere.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
In the time I've been here (1.5 years), the company has done a great job of setting a direction and sticking to it. The company culture is great and managed to survive the turmoil of the last 4 years.
Cons
I don't think compensation is competitive. Many Director and VP hires without many hires for the people that do the work.
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Cyno is the worst in aesthetic med devices. They have a slew of lawsuits to back this. Very cliquey people. If you don't hit quota you will be out the door unless you are related to someone or kiss butt. (management loves those people) They pitch all the money you will be making, (you will make more elsewhere, selling a legit product and sleep well at night ) Doctors cringe when you walk in the door hearing you're a Cynosure rep
Cons
Horrible people to work with, horrible management, horrible hours. If you want to work with a bunch of unprofessional clowns, Cynosure is a great place for that.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Commission good and lots of good benefits
Cons
Crazy environment, Sales reps are wild
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Good culture, good pay, good benefits
Cons
Constant change in management, the job is a grind
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Clinically validated products, legacy devices, and some of the most talented reps in the industry
Cons
Leadership is awful. New CEO is a yes man to private equity and new CCO has no clue what he’s doing and running the company to the ground
Continue reading - Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Great pay and they will wine and dine you
Cons
Backstabbing, lying, people quit or get fired every other day.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Can’t think of anything at all
Cons
If you only like to work then this is the company for you. Zero work life balance.
