    Pros

good introduction training program, if you can make it here you can make it @ several other cable contractors.

most supervisors are willing to help

    Cons

pay was horrible, new guys are given crap jobs that pay very poorly. every one in my training class quit. everyone in the training class before mines quit as well.

long shifts, horrible pay. wake up at 6am in the morning, go home at 9pm at night and come home with a 300-400 dollar check.

everyone assured the new guys in my training class you would be paid well, until we got out on the field.

    Pros

If you like a vibrant, fun atmosphere, working with people who work hard, yet take the time to laugh, then you'll love working at Cypress Communications. The business phone solutions are amazing. I can make video phone calls at my desk, see presence on my co-workers, share files with co-workers across the country and have my own private web conferencing meet-me line. The offices are beautiful and centrally located in Buckhead which makes the commute fairly easy--very important in Atlanta! I would highly recommend Cypress Communications as an employer.

    Cons

The downsides are the just what you'd expect when working at a growing high-tech company. The market can change at a lightening speed. If you are used to the slower TDM telephony pace, then the unified communications technology pace at Cypress is going to seem crazy. However, if you've come from a technology or software company, you'll be right at home. It may be a fast pace, but I promise you, you'll never be bored.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Continue the growth of the company.

    Pros

Good pay and great people (some of them). The technology is cool and it won some awards, but they need to iron out all of the kinks.

    Cons

It is very poorly run and the technology only works intermitently. They give you a laptop, but it's probably 12 years old. It takes days for anything to get fixed and nothing happens unless you contact the head of the department. Not much training whatsoever and what they did have was confusing and pretty pointless. I didn't mind working there, but it just seemed like it was run by a bunch of morons

    Advice to Management

    Fix the technology
