I have been working at D.R. Horton full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great atmosphere, staff is a lot of fun. If you work hard, it is rewarded handsomely. Lots of room to move up within the company. Different opportunities are available if you're willing to try new things.

    Cons

Long hours. Expected to be accessible (for emergencies) any time of day. Constant feeling of being "on call". It can be hard to feel like you have any real time off and when you do, all you think about is if something is going wrong.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. For younger professionals this is an amazing place to work. Lots of room to grow. Huge company with lots of locations which makes relocation easy. Depending on the people around you it can be a really fun and exciting place to be.
