I have been working at D1 Consulting Group full-time

    Pros

I love the professional environment. Everyone loves spending time with each other and loves what they do. The top leaders are always willing to help. I love the growth, and we're always learning something new everyday. I'm learning more here than I did in the 4 years at school. I've gotten the chance to go on a couple business trips already and I've only been here a couple months. I would highly recommend this position for anyone looking to get experience and looking for advancement.

    Cons

Hours are different from a typical 9 to 5. Definitely needed to get used to the schedule.

    Cons

100% commission. you are required to work many hours a day. You get to work at 9:30am or 10am if you have a meeting with your lead which they highly encourage and you get off after 8pm. They also expect you to hang out after work and if you don't you are seen as not a team player.

    I worked at D1 Consulting Group full-time

    Pros

They buy you a free lunch on your 2 interview. That's about it.

    Cons

•the hours are 11am to 7pm Monday through Friday and 9 to 5 on Saturday.
•it is selling door to door. Products for AT&T.
    •it is 100% commission. $100 a sale.
•You use your car and gas to drive out to the houses you will be going to.
Job is a huge waste of time and your money. Most people barely get any sales. Most of the reviews on here are fake too.

    Advice to Management

No one sells door to door anymore. And 100% commission really?

    Pros

The companies website showcases a great environment, Jasmine the HR Director was pleasant to talk with scheduling an interview. It is good to promote a good environment.

    Cons

A lack of posture and there was enough negative talk about D1 to give me some second thoughts. The post I applied to to said it was a "Competitive Salary" so I thought it was a salary based position. After speaking with Jasmine the HR Director she made it clear that the ENTRY LEVEL was "commission based" which confirmed my suspicion via reviews I had about the company. To commit full time when a $0 rate/salary was not worth my time to go in for an interview.

    Advice to Management

If you value adding future team members add value to them via compensation and transparency pre-interview, if you create skepticism you will not have a following.

I worked at D1 Consulting Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Awesome work environment- everyone is super fun, and the company culture is great. I learned more here in my 5 months than I have at any previous position. They taught me sales skills from the ground up, and I learned invaluable skillets surrounding team building, management, and interviewing. Unfortunately had to move out of state w my fiancé for her career.

    Cons

Above average work ethic is required to do well here (but I think that's expected anywhere to be successful), and hours can be a bit daunting.

    Advice to Management

Even more team events and functions would be awesome- I loved the team environment and hanging out with my coworkers all the time!

I really enjoy everyone that I work with. Not only is working in the office really fun and motivating, but the events make it even better.

    Cons

Since I was new to sales it took me a little while to learn how to get good at them, but I really appreciate the support and help of everyone in the office and I have it down.

I worked at D1 Consulting Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are willing to train which is great for anyone like me who was in a catch 22 after college. I gained a variety of skills; I learned more than just the sales position and got experience in brand marketing, team leadership, and administration. I got to travel for business trips to Toronto, Orlando, and the Bahamas.

    Cons

Same cons as must jobs that involve some sales: rude clients, long work days, etc.
