    Pros

Nice office, good benefits, flexible working hours, options for remote work,

    Cons

Bureaucracy, slowness in taking decisions and implementing changes, extremely complex promotion process (impossible to get promoted in some cases), overall bad internal communication, poor service and process management

    Advice to Management

Get to know product delivery contributors' workflow and lifecycle before introducing any changes affecting those.

I worked at DB Global Technology (More than a year)

    Pros

    - new building office (since 2014).
    - young colleagues.
    - possible to work remotely from home 4 days per month.
    - office building close to metro station.

    Cons

    - to much presure to take-over projects from external providers while it was not assured proper teams to do that.
    - unappropiate loads across roles: many team leaders, project managers or managers do not have proper skills for their role, while many developers are overloaded with projects take-over

    Advice to Management

Recomended to reduce the number and complexity of internal processes; reduce bureaucracy.

I have been working at DB Global Technology full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good salaries, flexible working hours, 4 days work from home / month, the chance to practice your English a lot because most of the teams are spread across many countries.

    Cons

Not a professional place to work, no procedures, chaotic projects without a clear scope, the software development process very, very slow, promotions based on friendship, no bonuses. They hire hundreds of persons without a real purpose, just to achieve a number of employees in the Bucharest office. It's possible to wait one month for the station installation. The internal communication tool is monitored. Internet access restricted. If you want to connect to yahoo mail, gmail, facebook etc you must take the laptop and connect to different wi-fi. People spend a loooooot of time in calls without scope, purpose and conclusion. Eventually they schedule another 3 other calls to clarify nothing finally.

    Advice to Management

Try to implement clear procedures for the software development process, clear the scope of the projects, try to better organize the teams, a spread team in four countries is not a very efficient one. Hire processional managers with experience in software development process.

I have been working at DB Global Technology full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice office, some benefits outside the salary, people act friendly, 2 days per month to work from home

    Cons

Salaries below the average. Very long business travels (1 month away from home, return for 1 day and go back another month). As a programmer you will get all the bugs made by other programmers and develop small features. Company struggles to implement Agile, not efficient though. This company creates zombies, people that don't care, don't get involved, don't want have good results. If you are a senior developer/tester/analyst you'll get frustrated working with too many juniors. Company lacks its own culture.

    Advice to Management

Get empowerment as soon as possible for middle management or else you'll loose all the remaining qualified people. Break down management objectives to the low levels. Think in terms of human beings and not just numbers.

I have been working at DB Global Technology full-time

    Pros

Good opportunities to move up quickly. Challenging environment. Work with good smart colleagues.

    Cons

Overly bureaucratic. Lots of legacy drag. Sometimes difficult to get simple requests improved.

    Advice to Management

Don't drink the kool aid. You say you want to simplify the bank's IT environment and reduce costs- so just do it and don't let your own bureaucracy be a barrier to real change.

    Cons

    Advice to Management
