Great benefits and decent salary
Cons
Stressful and draining, unrealistic expectations (scores do not measure the overload of work we do), no assistance in the classroom. Even attempting to transfer out of the classroom into an administrative is challenging (that politics issue, more about who you know then merit).

Salaries are good, bilingual schools have a great environment full of amazing teachers and leaders. Teacher have the WTU that provides great benefits for all members.
Cons
There are a lot of problems regarding student behavior on the district. There is not much support form the families and the teacher get exhausted.

Downtown takes quite a while to resolve small issues, but if you press them enough it'll get done.
