I worked at DFC Global full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They paid well. Fleecing customers means there's always plenty of revenue. Plenty of parking.

    Cons

After the company was run into the ground by the CIO, CFO, CEO and others there was a massive layoff. Many were let go. Not a stable environment. That's why there are constant listings for staff level employees. And the IT management out of Canada stinks. They'd move all the IT jobs there if they could just to keep themselves employed. The good news is all those who drove the company into the ground are gone. If you can live with charging high interest rates to people who can't afford it you'll be fine.

    Advice to Management

You still retain some of the people who's values and business decisions led to the company's downfall.

    Pros

Some friendly employees and co-workers. The company provides average pay and decent benefits. There is free coffee and snacks sometimes available.

    Cons

Management micro manages to a point that it affects how you can get work done. They make you feel inadequate to do your job if you have any questions. No training is provided and they get angry when you have questions. Also overtime is a must every month, while being treated like an intern. Also, they have no compassion for equipment malfunctions, along with personal circumstances. No life work balance!

    Advice to Management

Give your employees some empowerment. Set up an introductory training schedule for new hires. Let your workers be more independent.

    Pros

flexible schedule some friendly co workers. nice caffeteria

    Cons

where do i even begin first off this company is so unprofessional in every way you can think of people cheat and the bosses look the other way as long as it brings up the numbers and makes there bonus bigger and you have to kiss butt or your fired. besides the fact that one sup does cocaine the other sleeps with every girl in training classes and the third, well he drunk at work couple times a week, this company was the worst job ever.someone really needs to go in and take a better look at who runs this cause its like a fight til death to hit goal
you were only a favorite and got away with attendance and harrassing other co workers and making it a hostile environment if you was bringing in the money they did not do anything about it but give out like 10 "finals" to that person and let them continue to cheat harrasse etc.

    Advice to Management

managment needs to drug test without warning also hire more professional people not managers like this!

    Pros

    Your paychecks don't bounce (yet)
    They offer benefits
There's not much else to say.....

    Cons

Avoid them at all costs. There's a reason why they are always hiring and why third party recruiters won't touch them! They can't keep good employees and that's a problem! The business model is unethical regardless of how they try to spin it. I've seen management do many things that make you shake your head!

    Advice to Management

Close up shop. The business isn't sustainable.
