    Free way to do things. You create your game plan by doing partnership with upper management and merchants. Great benefits and jobs perks

    A lot of changes happening, not a lot of data that support this changes. Senior employees need to learn how to lead change and be more actionable

    Pros

    DFS prides itself as a world-class luxury retailer for the traveling consumer. The employees treat each other like family and give great customer service.

    Cons

    Being a travel merchant it never closes for the holidays. Also, because the business relies on the traveling customer there are times where slowness of the tourism industry may lead to cutbacks on employee work hours.

    Your employees are your greatest assets.

    Pros

    All the employees are friendly and willing to help out in any way. When I started, there were many things I didn't know how to do, but my managers were very patient and willing to help me. Very soon, I got a lot of my own responsibility and was able to do a lot on my own.

    Separation by department and not many cross-department interaction
