    I worked at DHI full-time

    Pros

Scope of the job is interesting, opportunity to travel, if you are a citizen of the country of a certain DHI office you get to study

    Cons

Depends where the office is located. Citizens of one office have a subtle way of showing hate against foreign workers.

I have been working at DHI full-time

    Pros

They utilize adjustable desks, so you can either sit or stand at work, which is good for posture and not many companies offer that.

    Cons

Everything seems to be a constant emergency. When you complete your tasks, you rarely get so much as a thank you. However, they are quick to nit pick when you do something wrong.

    Advice to Management

Spend less money on frivolous office activities and invest in your employees. Everyone I talk with is extremely unhappy.

I worked at DHI full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A very diverse group of employees and truly global in that sense. Informal management style (mostly). Flexible work hours.

    Cons

If you are okay with doing the same tasks day-in and day-out while it gets re-wrapped every year to seem shiny and "new" then it is the perfect organization for you. The focus is on using every buzz word possible - digital transformation / agile methodology/ name it, they use it. What time and energy (and unfortunately all the money as there is no more 'profits' since last 2 years) is being spent on now is 're-decorating' the offices - to seem cool and in-trend. This is the core problem - to put on a "show".

They fire people behind closed doors, they build shiny offices but refuse to pay employees even the basic market standard pay. They create titles every other month for the same group of 5 - 10 individuals without these people ever undergoing any training or knowledge upgrade to be actually worth of the fancy titles.

If you know how to play politics and lick the right *fill in your preferred word here * then you will do just fine and reap in all the glory.

If you want to work hard, learn from qualified superiors, do meaningful work then DHI is sadly no longer the place to be. Do a background check of the superiors and see how few of them have real relevant experience to be in the fancy positions they hold.

Oh also, most of the management are the racisit type who will first say "Don't be offended but… * insert racial stereotype * …..". Apologising before making racisit comments does NOT make it okay!

    Advice to Management

I have nothing to say as they are fully aware of the issues but just are too busy planning parties and decorating to fix the real problems.

"Company DNA dissapearing due to poor top management"

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at DHI full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The passion among many colleagues about the professional challenges and the dedication to do well and help your colleagues in their work. Many great opportunities in the world given the importance of water.

    Cons

Since the top management changed a couple of years, the company has changed significantly. Management by fear has replaced the environment of open discussion for the best solution. 'Do we have the right people' question gets asked frequently and is used to get rid of people that dare express concern about decisions being made. Concern from employees is discarded as not understanding the strategy. Personal likes and dislikes seem to matter more than professional considerations. People in top positions are appointed based on something else than their professional insight, which is cause for concern for the future of the company.

    Advice to Management

Advice to top management: Step back and leave the company in the hands of people that care about the business.
