    A person will be TSA certified

    Pay is low to average: upper management does not work well with each other or lower levels.

    I have been working at DHL Express full-time

    Pros

    Coworkers generally cordial and friendly. Low level management seems to understand department needs. Competitive pay.

    Cons

    Upper Management concerned with numbers more than needs. Major disconnect between shifts. HR will not resolve anything. Grossly understaffed across the board, mandatory OT a constant.

    Advice to Management

    Staff appropriately, develop and implement competent training.

    Pros

    The people in the office are great. Made wonderful friends working here and they are the ones that help you survive. Relatively decent place to start if you are coming out of college.

    Cons

    Tools needed to successfully do your job regularly break down. Reps are getting more and more micromanaged every day. There is a huge disconnect between upper management and what is actually happening on the floor. Whther or not you do well depends greatly on the book you are given.

    Advice to Management

    Adjust the compensation plan to reflect the importance of aquisition customers. Stop the bias and listen to what your sales floor actually needs. Be honest and upfront.

    Good job equal pay good people they definitely try to be of service benefits are decent management is down to earth entry management level

    Cons

    Some Senior management hires their girlfriends instead of the person eligible for thevposition upper management a lil racial alledgedly in operations for sure. It is basically horrible for growth IT IS A DECENT JOB THEY DEFINITELY TRY as long as You stay in your place...

    Advice to Management

    Don't get caught up in The " It's A Mans World" nor the racial war on Black N Brown its definitely not acgoo look for an international company. Just look how Fed Ex Soared by treating people equally

      Pros

      Bonuses all year round. Paid vacation as soon as you start. Coney Island family day! Free stuff all the time. Good starting pay, and good raises throughout your time working there.

      Cons

      Hard physical work. Cold in winter. Hot in summer. Lack of communication with upper management and operation itself. Not for anyone over 40.

      Advice to Management

      Actually talk to people in the actual operation about changes. Think of employees before dollar signs.

      A job in Obama era hard time. Medical benefits for the cost of union dues.

      Cons

      The low level supervisors do not reward hard work and let slackers get away with slacking. Middle management is incompetent and do not care to change. Upper management has no clue about getting the job done. Union shop but union does not care about employees. Less about part timers. Shop stewarts tell you one thung but will not back you if you follow their instruction....

      Get rid of upper level management and start fresh with people who understand the jobs. Dump poor effort employees so they do not infect hard working employees.

      Pros

      They offer Full time, decent hours weekends off. Good pay if your hours are correct. Nice uniforms they send you. They provide Air conditioned vehicles.

      Cons

      We can communicate with the DHL dock employees and we know they get treated better than us here at SER and they definitely get compensated more. This is low for morale all around. The health insurance is so expensive but just under the amount to which you can qualify for the affordable care act insurance. You have to use your personal cell phone but they do not pay you enough for a plan that has unlimited minutes or data....

      Advice to Management

      Hire/promote more managers/supervisors to keep up with Amazons growing business. Offer promotions/bonuses to drivers so they can see that doing a good job gets you reward or make the pay/bonuses comparable to the actual DHL employees. Make health insurance cheaper. Offer throw away cell phones or pay people who use their own cell phones a bonus to keep up with growing cell phone bills.
