I worked at DICK'S Sporting Goods part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you love sports and love to talk about sports this is the place to work at. You're surrounded by coworkers and customers who are sports minded so it's a plus. On top of that you get to learn new things about other sports activity you probably wouldn't necessarily consider.

    Cons

The operator was cheap, unorganized, and hated dealing with conflict. One of the employers was stealing money from other employers and it went on for 4 months before they finally let the one they knew was responsible go.

    Advice to Management

Take care of situations when they happen not after the fact. Just because you give people who actually work more time doesn't mean you cut 60% of the staff's time. It doubles the work for the people who do work.
