I worked at DIMONT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company will make you appreciate other companies to work for. I thought I have worked with some poor skilled companies before, but absolutely not. They are bottom of the barrel bad.

    Cons

Wish I could give 0 for stars because they don't deserve one! First company I have worked with that has no direction whatsoever. This is the first company I have encountered that will cut our hours cause we didn't have much work from the client to work & not get compensated. We agreed to 40 hours/full time status before getting hired on as a perm employee. This company initially started out wrong I was here entirely too long. Management is so nonchalant it's unreal. If they are hiring (which I highly doubt) avoid this company! They don't believe in communication whatsoever & they set you up to fail which is quite ridiculous...your employees are the reflection of your company smh. Snakes in the grass. Ship is sinking slowly but surly!

    Advice to Management

Have some appreciation for your employees, pay more instead of pocketing the money since your employees are doing the leg work. Also choose qualifying people to promote oppose to choosing favorites that's just ridiculous. Also communication is key! The most awkward behaving managers I have ever seen with the exception of one person. Create a great work environment. The negative energy is so real with this company.

I have been working at DIMONT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Co-workers are alright

Some of their activities are fun to do

    Lots of free food

    Cons

    Micromanaging

    Layoffs constantly

    High turnover rate

    No real training system

All the managers are white and there's no way you can advance to management roles anyway.

Low pay; every job you were reassigned to was deemed a lateral move so they didn't pay you more. Sometimes they would make you do 3 or 4 things at once for no additional compensation.

Do not give you letters of recommendation after you have been laid off

Like a sweat shop; clock in and out doing monotonous work each day.

    Advice to Management

Stop turning over your employees so much and care about them for a change. You don't know what direction you are going in and you said yourself you want employees to have 20 year careers here. Yea right!

    Pros

While they don't do everything perfect, there is a constant push internally among management to be proactive. Move to focus on Associates as Internal Customers has helped in internal communication. Increased communication on company activities and focus.

    Cons

It takes a while for the changes to be seen across 2 locations and over 200 employees, but it is moving forward. With growth comes changes, and that is hard whether it is for the better or not.

    Advice to Management

Set clear career paths with those that are interested. Open communication is important from all levels.

    I worked at DIMONT full-time

    Pros

Some good coworkers. Usually an alright work-life balance

    Cons

Sinking ship. Constant management changes, low pay, high employee turnover, and seems disorganized. Benefits are subpar and the amount of paid time off is a joke

    Advice to Management

Get on the ball if you want to save the company

I have been working at DIMONT full-time

    Pros

Weekends, when you don't have to work

    Cons

New management is horrible, Low pay, only care about pleasing clients, not the employees. Will do anything not to give a raise. Training is rare, no communication between management and company. Stay away from this place!

    Advice to Management

Care more about the employees, cheap birthday celebrations don't help employees pay their bills and does not boost morale! This place has gone downhill ever since original owner left the company

I worked at DIMONT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work if you're white.
Company makes you nostalgic if you grew up in the 50s.
Great place to work if you liked "Mad Men" and really want to experience the show in real life.
Good place to work if you don't want to go anywhere with your career.
Amazing place to work if you need a reminder that you need to do better in life.
No work life balance so if you enjoy working long hours with mandatory overtime and 7 days a week sometimes this is the place for you.
Makes you more appreciative of life when you leave.
Wonderful place to work if you like your racism covert.

    Cons

Management is horrible and communication is extremely poor.
The all white Managers sit in the office and browse Facebook all day while the non-white workers sit on the floor and do all the work. Guess who gets paid six figures and who gets paid $16/hr.
The CEO is either out of touch or just doesn't care what's going on.
They make a lot of empty promises.
    Benefits are poor.
Talking to other employees while at work is heavily discouraged.
Management has no clue what they are doing.
Most managers got the job through nepotism.

    Advice to Management

It's 2017. "Say NO! To racism" also communicate more with your employees.
