    Pros

Good pay, hours and benefits. Love the work and the atmosphere. Training is great and work/life is well balanced. Enkoy travelling to neighboring cities and paid drive time. Management comes from within so they know the job and help keep you motivated. Overtime is a plus. Company pays for tools, van, training and drive time. Never have to skip a lunch or break for customer service. You are your own boss, and your work directly affects your pay. The better job you do, the more you make. Incentive pay is great. Don't have to rely on any other employees to meet your goals. No sales quotas.

    Cons

Never know when you will get off, have to wake up at 5am to get to work by 6:30am.

    Advice to Management

    Add locals in HD please.

    Pros

Great pay without a college degree
    Choose your own schedule
    4 weeks of training
    Sales Comission
    Bonuses based on your scores
    Health, Dental, Vision
401k (company matches up to $1500/year)
Stock purchase (15% discount off market price)
Free DISH Service (America's Top 250 normally 69.99, we just pay tax which about $3/mo.)
One-on-One time with coach to help improve ourselves

    Cons

They offer optional time off a lot, if you aren't careful you won't have a paycheck large enough to cover expenses.
Talking all day when you are sick is tough

    Advice to Management

Keep a closer eye on your employees. If you notice that an employee has a sore throat or has lost their voice, offer to give them time off of the phones for training. Little things like that make a big difference to us.

I have been working at DISH full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Dish is an excellent company to work for of you have a serious work ethic and are strongly customer service oriented. The salary is good I haven't made under 30k since I started working an entry level position. I've been promoted several times and make about 25 percent more than I started at 3 years ago. They offer up to 40percent performance bonuses and medical dental and 401k plans along with overtime

    Cons

Like every corporation there are issues you will run into from site to site manager to manager. But overall its a great place to work. A lot of people disagree with the policies as a whole butt as you gain experience you understand them

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work love da hoppa

I have been working at DISH full-time

    Pros

Dish looks to promote from within first...how else do you explain a VP who started as a Technician, not to mention countless Managers across the country who started as Technicians. The company continues to change and in doing so, offers endless opportunities for employees to grow professionally through paid training from technical training to leadership development classes...not to mention the tuition reimbursement offered for external classes. It's a metric-driven organization which makes it easy to know where you stand; leaves little room for ambiguity. Managers at every level are always pushing you to be your best and do more than you thought you were capable of.

    Cons

If you are lazy, just want to punch a clock, or expect the world to come to you you will fail at Dish. You will work hard and long hours...the rewards though are worth it!

    Advice to Management

Screen candidates vigorously; avoid hiring undriven and complacent people. The majority of those employed at Dish do appreciate working here and love the opportunities we have to be successful! Encourage more active employees to post their feedback online!
