    Pros

Independent working environment. No one breathing down your back. Good benefits. Good work environment

    Cons

Unpredictable work schedule. Bad work life balance, good for young single person for them to work to death

I have been working at DISH full-time

    Pros

Stable working hours, some minor benefits with the tv programming, clean working enviroment.

    Cons

Company CEO is vague on what his plans for the future are, garbage insurance, holiday's and weekends are part of your shift. no room for advancement.Management covers their own back not yours.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees suggestions and be realistic with the future of this company.

I have been working at DISH part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Fast paced environment
They always schedule you 40 hours
Some supervisors really look out for you
3 hours of PTO attained per check
    401K
Once you get the job down its super easy/same thing over and over

    Cons

Unless you work really hard to get promoted, you'll stay in the same position
Some supervisors only care about themselves rather than your happiness
    Attendance policy has no leeway
    No down time in-between calls
    Dental/Medical insurance is a joke
You schedule is chosen based on your rank

    Advice to Management

Dish isn't a land of opportunity if you make it difficult for anyone with a desire to move up to not have the tools to do so. A lot of hard working and extremely talented people have been lost over them feeling like Dish wants them to stay in a frontline position.

    Pros

Way to make good money for a young person as a first job. Chances to change roles and try some different responsibilities relatively quickly.

    Cons

Most promotions are just a title with more hours and equal or less pay. Mid to upper level management is mediocre at best. Most mid level management is actually sub par. True inspiring and mentoring leadership is completely lacking in most areas of the company. Many mistakes with payroll for hundreds of agents every week. Planned vacation time that doesn't get paid out, commissions that don't get paid out correctly, increases in tier infractions while bonus periods are being given to incentivize employees to work more hours, which just takes right back, the money that the agents earn with working over time.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting based on popularity contests and actually start looking at performance, peer advice, long term dependability, and actual leadership qualities.

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, decent incentives.

    Cons

Not great pay for the job, constantly getting fussed at by coaches and managers, "open door" policy doesn't really exist, always want you to work overtime.

    Advice to Management

Try to keep your coaches and lower management happier so all employees will be happy.

I worked at DISH full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tuition reimbursement helped finish my bachelors degree while working the weekend shift. Our site is also heavily focused on Lean Manufacturing, which is a plus. The salary for what I did was pretty substantial, thankful for it too.

    Cons

Lack of communication sometimes. Need better and direct communication about what is going on, even on a daily basis. Sometimes you feel out of the loop. Also, lots of gossip, but what can you expect..

    Advice to Management

I've seen tremendous improvements over the years so I would just continue to do what you've been doing.

    Advice to Management

The warehouse has bay doors and is not air conditioned. However, this was notified at the start so it was not unexpected
