Great company to work for, things have changed for the better. You get what you put in it.

    Cons

Performance appraisal is based on the last quarter pretty much.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to continue to do a great job, follow procedures but also do as you say by leading from the front not the back.

I have been working at DISH full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive, fast-paced environment. Great opportunity to work beyond your pay grade and outside your comfort zone. I truly feel that my work impacts the entire company and I'm encouraged to continually grow professionally. Excited to be part of where the company goes with Sling TV and wireless initiatives.

    Cons

Uncertain environment as we enter new spaces with Sling TV and wireless initiatives - It requires a little more faith than working at a status quo company. It's also a pro.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and don't be afraid to make big changes.

    Pros

The money is there for people who can focus, work hard, and pay attention to details. Yes there are consequences if you mess up QA but the rules are cut and dry. I loved being able to work extra hours and make ton of money when I wanted to and other weeks just work my 40 and be happy with a $800-$1,000 week. I had some amazing coworkers and Leads who taught me a lot about Sales.

    Cons

It's a sales job so there are ups and downs and you can't make money if you aren't there. Not a job for someone who wants to work on autopilot. If you try and coast through a day you will see it in your paycheck.

    Advice to Management

Keep trying to find ways to make the environment positive. I saw a huge change in the past year and appreciated the work managers spent getting rid of toxic people. Keeping it a fair playing field makes everyone happy.

    Pros

Amazing internship program, great exposure to top level executives. Allowed to really contribute to the company through the projects we were assigned.

    Cons

Experience varied depending on the department you ended up in- some projects required far more hands-on work than others, providing a better experience. Pay for full time offers is not ideal as well

I worked at DISH full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, extremely dedicated and hardworking staff. This is truly a work hard play hard culture. If you put in the effort and the hours your superiors will do their best to give you the opportunity to advance.

    Cons

Dish changes and adapts quickly. If something is not working, be prepared to change directions or have your role changed or eliminated. Lots of opportunities if you are willing to relocated with the company.

    Advice to Management

Lack of communication among all staff members makes decisions appear to be knee jerk.
