I have been working at DMS Health Technologies part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Since it is mobile unit pay is higher than most hospitals.
Co workers are usually easy to work with.
Direct managers (depending what region you are in) are great. They will look out for you.

    Cons

Some routes may have to stay the night from home but compensated.
    Hours can vary.
Need to put vacation time in advance.
Most of time it is technologist and their assistant so must be able to work on your own with other technologist to assist.

I have been working at DMS Health Technologies (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay is adequate. The company has a policy and procedure for everything possible, short of breathing..

    Cons

There's a complete disregard for employees. They're treated as machines that can be easily replaced. They cut hours and add them without the courtesy of notifying the employee. Middle managers seem to have no management training. Communication is non-existent.

    Advice to Management

Recognise that employees are your best asset and treat them as such. Train your managers to get the job done while being fair and CALM. Recognise that employees do have a life outside of DMS.

I worked at DMS Health Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

decent pay, matching 401K up to 3%, opportunity to see the country while driving ungodly amounts of miles to your next site.

    Cons

no communication from corporate, they will fire you without proof of giving you a chance to defend yourself

    Advice to Management

Need to share complaints and praises with the technologist. Don't keep the low man on the totem pole in the dark. It's truly unfair!

I worked at DMS Health Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

great people , lots of training (oem) and managers. perfect job if all you want to do is drive all day to small towns.

    Cons

Office politics , job security, very long distance expected to cover almost unrealistic service arrival time at times because of so little back up.

    Advice to Management

share outlook expectations, more one on one time with employees and progress, review time can be a mix emotions game with how well you thought you did with how little they think of you.

  6. "If you enjoy extreme stress and like to worry about having a job tomorrow, this is the place to work!"

    Pros

There are some really great people that actully do care about their job, and are willing to help others.
Some of the better managers will give you the tools you need to do a good job.
Benefits are fairly good, but salaries could be a lot better.

    Cons

Top heavy with upper management - no longer has the people necessary to do the jobs that need to be done.
Executive management doesn't know what they are doing, and doesn't have a clue as to how to run this type of business.
Divisions will steal jobs for other divisions, with the hope of guaranteeing that their division won't get laid off - even though they have no clue as to how the work should be done.
People with the same job but not the same rate of pay.
Executive management doesn't care about their employees, and only uses them as a tool to discard when they can't make budget or their bonus at year end.

    Advice to Management

Resign - You're only destroying what was once a really good company to work for. Give DMS a chance to become what it once was.
