    Approves of CEO

I worked at DNN full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-CEO is a great person to learn sales from -Chill environment -Very excellent product with a huge following in the Microsoft world -Senior leadership is very nice, they have no attitudes against employees -Excellent comp plan, you can make a lot of money working here (on a new business team of 5-7 people, at least 2-3 are making over $200k annually --- but you have to be patient and work hard the first 8 months)...

    Cons

-.NET is not being used as much as it was during the heyday of Microsoft, but nonetheless is still extremely popular (helps you as a salesperson!) -location isn't great, but isn't bad either (depends where you live) -Perks are not great, but the money you can potentially make should allay this

    Advice to Management

Rebuild the commercial product in PHP and Scala, you will destroy Wordpress :-)

    Pros

    Free food sometimes. Health insurance.

    Cons

    Bad energy. Favoritism. Run. Now.

    Advice to Management

It sounds like the biggest problem was fixed. Maybe work on the corporate culture...

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at DNN full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Management hires selectively, but democratically. Management genuinely cares about the success and professional development of employees. Office culture is constantly transforming, but at the moment, vibes are friendly and relaxed, with an edge of competitiveness. Trending towards healthier snacks, as well. Work-life balance is strong if you have the will-power to take advantage of your afternoons/evenings. Pay is...

    Cons

Ain't no one livin' in San Mateo, lemme tell you that. Commute from the city isn't too bad, if you're in sync with the sales team. Past snacking options tended to be sugar-laiden, teeth-destroyers, but that's changing. Soda is still a worrisome epidemic.

    Advice to Management

If you want to fill the sales team with the best, young talent open a satellite office in San Francisco. Biking to work would be the dream of all dreams. A monthly gym reimbursement would be stellar, as would a monthly book allowance. Encouraging an active and engaged work-life balance would be a huge pro that would be easily instituted.
