    Pros

Great company with lot's opportunity. This job is for hard working people if your lazy this is not the job for you...if people complain is because they don't want to work and they think if you leave this company they will find better , good luck with that!! Thank you DPI for my job opportunity!!

    Cons

Need to hire more reliable and qualified people!!

I have been working at DPI Midwest full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good hours, pay and benefits,

    Cons

NEVER ANY HELP!! As a sales rep you work by yourself, but with no help you cannot even call in sick, you have to work with your stores and tell them the load will not get thrown that day because of your illness

    Advice to Management

Stop being so cheap, and hire some help in the field and in the office. Also, it wouldn't hurt to remind the people in the office what it is like to work in the field, there is one person in particular I could think of the Rocky Mountain district

I worked at DPI Midwest full-time

    Pros

CDL A class drivers have opportunity to make decent pay and receive okay benefits. You also have good co-drivers at this location with good work ethic and sense of team work at times of need. The equipment is really nice and fairly new.

    Cons

There are absolutely NO company ethics nor values here. They will work your mind and body to the edge. They will have taken all family life / personal balance away from you and will not accommodate. You'll get the notion your set up to fail soon after being hired. Drug and alcohol abuse is evident.

    Advice to Management

You have created a horrible work environment from your inexperience in transportation. You should focus on restoring company values. Focusing on the employees and their family/personal life balance should be important. Fact #1 : Happy employees create a healthy and productive work place.

Do your job correctly and follow through. Respect your front line (drivers) Without them you lose your account.

I have been working at DPI Midwest full-time

    Pros

Great people to work with, lots of opportunities to learn about the market place. Local management is friendly and easy to work both for and with.

    Cons

Workers got moved around too much, so wrong people ended up in important positions. Company is going out of business due to poor upper-management decisions.

    Advice to Management

Think long-term, before other branches close too.
