I have been working at DPR Construction full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great training opportunities, regional offices are a lot of fun, the culture Doug, Peter and Ron have created have been one of a kind and have attracted someone of the best people in the industry.

    Cons

Part of the strength of DPR is creating your own uniqueness. Most of the time this is good but when certain regions struggle to implement the culture you start seeing red flags. The software project management is subpar, buggy and not best in class. I’ve seen too many times the culture is not strongly reinforced onsite and project sites devolve to what any other general contractor site is due to shortsightedness from upper management.

    Advice to Management

This was a company founded to aspire to greatness so treat it like such. Value your best-in-class employees with better recognition and listen to us and don’t look at projects just from a monetary value.

I worked at DPR Construction (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company with lot of upside. If you work there for over 4 years you might as well retire with them because your phantom stock will be vested for nice bonuses every year.

    Cons

I didnt have any complaints except the bonus at the end of year didn't depend on your specific project it was how the company did overall

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. All of the execs have been there a long time.
