    Recommends
    Approves of CEO

    I worked at DST Output

    Pros

Pay is competitive. The campus has some benefits: gym, cafeteria, basketball, soccer facilities.

    Cons

This is not the place to use cutting edge technology in the IT department. The location is inconvenient for mass transit. Getting tools to do your job is cumbersome.

Former Employee - Software Engineer in El Dorado Hills, CA

I worked at DST Output full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at DST Output full-time for less than a year

    Pros

None, I walked out after just one day! Perhaps the large car park? Quitting and not going back the next day was a relief.

    Cons

What was agreed in the interview was not what was on offer when I started work. HR forgot to put start time in the 'starters pack' along with various other contractual documentation. I was viewed negatively for turning up at 9am. Contract said 9am to 5:30pm. They failed to inform me to start at 10am on the first day. It was frowned upon for turning up at 8:50am. My team leader made a derogatory comment about female employees to me on my first day. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable environment. Dirty offices, filthy desks and an outdated, proprietary technology stack. Definitely avoid!
