    Pros

Management is great, pay is mostly on par with other companies within the area.

I have been working at DST Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers, racially diverse, updated facilities, located in bustling city environment, lots of internal opportunities to move around

    Cons

Health insurance not competitive, regular overtime for at least half the year, wellness program not useful, constant tech issues

    Advice to Management

Reduce exorbitant administrative salaries to provide better health insurance and fitness subsidies to employees. Stop running short staffed to cut costs; this will improve employee work quality and productivity

I have been working at DST Systems full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are some great people to work both for and with. Benefits are fair. Changes are happening that could be very good and bring DST in line with newer technology and financial companies. They are really pushing for younger employees.

    Cons

The belt is always tightening and a lot for f changes are happening quickly and coming down from the top. The company is both aging and turning over faster. Not always good about retaining top talent.

    Advice to Management

Work on changing from the bottom up. Current decisions seem dictated instead of grown and fostered. Keep growing a diverse work force and focus on keeping talent.

I have been working at DST Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

401k match, nice people, some areas of the company are good.

    Cons

Management is so antiquated they can't get themselves out of the problems they created. It's a symphony of incompetence and confusion. There is very little ability to actually lead or manage, and no conviction to complete any task. The ship just lists from one idea to the next without ever completely committing to any.

    Advice to Management

Commit to a plan, then complete it. Get real leaders and real managers. Hire for culture fit.

I worked at DST Systems full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The benefits are pretty good, and the company donates time and money to local causes.

    Cons

The departments are very insular, and at least in my area, the tech used was not evolving with the times.
