I worked at DSW part-time for more than a year

    Pros

My team was amazing. My coworkers made it worth staying there for almost two years. Once you get the hang of things, it’s a pretty simple job.

    Cons

Customers can be very rude. There’s too much focus on the rewards program. There is a lot of secrecy in the company.

I worked at DSW part-time for less than a year

    Pros

30% discount. Managers or coworkers were kind.

    Cons

The majority of the training is through on iPad. Lots of information to remember the first day and then sent out to the floor the second day. Management really pushes the rewards program onto customers, I felt annoyed by it.

Structurally a really good company to work for. Flexible with scheduling

    Cons

A lot of pressure is put on works about the rewards program and data capture. Conversion is beat to death, like one can force someone to make a purchase.
