I have been working at DTI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I get to work with the smartest people in the industry. I am in close proximity to the main visionary. Direction is clear, course is set. With the integration of the Epiq team, we have assembled the best team in the world to run the most dynamic and talented professional services company in the world.
While no organization is perfect, this one is focused on the long term value creation for not only shareholders, but employees who are interested in the industry.

    Cons

Like all mergers, integration is the challenge. Cultures are different, but not terribly. Cutting through differences to ensure line of sight to the clients is the key and we are moving aggressively on that direction.

    Advice to Management

Don't rush integration. Do it right. Focus on the clients and the key employees.

I have been working at DTI as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Primary benefits are flexible hours and the relaxed work environment. Document reviewers are allowed to work anytime that the office is open, seven days a week, though employees are encouraged to work the majority of their hours during the regular work week. Employees are treated like a responsible adults. Casual dress code.

    Cons

The office space is somewhat cramped. Project end dates can be difficult to pin down, particularly for shorter term projects.

    Pros

Great opportunity to get experience in customer service, time management, and organizational skills. the people are nice, the work is consistent, plus yearly raises based on performance and bonuses.

    Cons

It can become somewhat monotonous, doing the same type of thing everyday. You aren't pushed or encouraged to excel or go above the call of duty.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to be more unconventional and step/think out side the box. Fight for your hard working employees.

I have been working at DTI as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Very laid back in terms of getting 40 hours. The project managers and others in the office are very nice.

    Cons

It is document review and not a real job. The job market dictates that pay is $20 an hour, no paid breaks. Since many of us attorneys are unemployed or underemployed, morale isn't the greatest. Wish work projects were more long-lasting.

I worked at DTI as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

A lot depends on the firm, but DTI works with good partners. The office staff is friendly and responsive to any needs or concerns.

    Cons

Depending on the size of the project, some rooms/space can be cramped, but that's a fairly universal complaint (I think).
