I have been working at DTI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Great opportunity for those who recently graduated from college and took year(s) off before going to law school in order to have a law firm experience and atmosphere.

    - Great way to start making connections and listening advises from the attorneys .

    Cons

-Wages are very low so it causes high turnover rates and that leads some attorneys, secretaries, or paralegals getting uncomfortable in this highly confidential job industry.

-Because of being third party vendor in a law firm, some attorneys, or supporting staff may not treat DTI employees fairly or as their equal, depending on sites.

-Employees' hardworks are often overlooked by both law firm and DTI's upper management .

    Advice to Management

-Increase wages and benefits. This will, for sure, decrease the turn over rate.

-Do not overlook at your employees concern. Protect your employees' rights and treat them fairly.

-Focus on hiring more of the candidates with an interest in law.

I have been working at DTI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I get to work with the smartest people in the industry. I am in close proximity to the main visionary. Direction is clear, course is set. With the integration of the Epiq team, we have assembled the best team in the world to run the most dynamic and talented professional services company in the world.
While no organization is perfect, this one is focused on the long term value creation for not only shareholders, but employees who are interested in the industry.

    Cons

Like all mergers, integration is the challenge. Cultures are different, but not terribly. Cutting through differences to ensure line of sight to the clients is the key and we are moving aggressively on that direction.

    Advice to Management

Don't rush integration. Do it right. Focus on the clients and the key employees.
