      In the Corporate Office

      Business Outlook

      Pros

There is ample parking with a lot surrounding the building and two multi-level garages. Also, the Green Line has a T stop directly beside the building. Company specific there are zero pros.

      Cons

Nonexistent leadership, out of touch managers, ridiculously politically correct working environment, performance review scores kept to mediocre ratings group wide as a matter of policy (and regardless of individual merit) to legitimize non-existent to below inflationary yearly salary increases… Also, the company has been bought out every year or so for the last several years with the constant changing of hands leading to massive layoffs (for example the entire IT department was outsourced to a foreign company recently) not to mention the market confusion of constant branding changes and a schizoid corporate mission and culture. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be expected to work unpaid overtime as a salaried employee but where you’ll have zero opportunity to get ahead despite your hard work and best efforts…than DTZ is the place for you.

DTZ is an incredible company to work for. The environment is very laid back and everyone gets along. Great atmosphere

      Pros

I love the people I work with. I feel challenged and am learning something new everyday. I feel this is a company where you can grow and create a career with.

      Cons

I was hired on at too low of a salary but I wanted to get my foot in the Commercial Real estate door.

Good management is now in place at DTZ. It's one to watch over the next 2-5 years

      Pros

It is full of bright non conformist free thinkers. Clients are often very loyal to this distinctive brand of real estate - they like our ability to listen to them and work collaboratively to find the best solution.

      Cons

It lacks confidence in itself. As a company we need to make brave game changing decisions rather than the small incremental ones

      More important things than quality

Jun 30, 2015 - No Longer There in Auburndale, MA

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Big company, getting bigger every day with acquisitions and mergers to make the bottom line look quite impressive.

      Cons

In their unbridalled haste to save money, increase profits, and ensure fat bonusses for the execs, they are downsizing the DTZ portion of the company. Cutting most departments to the bone and they outsourced a great IT department overseas to a group that cannot do the job. Poor planning is grinding everything to a halt.

      Pros

Global company, no micromanagement, nice offices, lots of opportunity to see all aspects of the business, while not robust, a tolerable corporate culture

      Cons

Virtually no communication between service lines, inefficient procedures, integration with Cassidy Turley highly mis-managed at a local level with poor communication, and insufficient systems in place

    10. 1.0
Current Employee, more than 1 year

      Pros

      Great Co-workers work-life balance decent.

      Cons

Lack of leadership. Management takes advantage of it's employees and lacks respect for the workers. Their is no room for career advancement or solid pay raises. Training is a non-factor in this company. Benefits was the foundation for many employees, but now they went cheaper and the employees have to pay greater for healthcare on very little pay. Management is non- committal and lacks the drive and direction to succeed. Lack of communication among managers and way to much back stabbing.
