I worked at DTZ full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

DTZ provided good benefits, decent pay, and flexibility with my schedule

    Cons

I was there on a temporary basis, so I don't feel I was there long enough to see any cons.

    Pros

Flexible work schedule and easy drive to work

    Cons

Everything but flexible work schedule. Zero management experience. The company hired a manager who had no real experience and was sexually harassing the female employees. After I complained and filed a formal write up, there was no investigation and I was told I had no case. He not only drove away me from the company, but another female employee as well. I also heard from other vendors who worked in our building and other tenants that this manager was inappropriate and rude. It took 2 people leaving and complaints from other tenants to have this manager removed. Terrible corporate management trickles down to local management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Hire people with experience and offer training. Stop being so cheap.

    Advice to Management

The only suggestion one can give is to compensate loyal employees with better pay incentives and opportunities of advancement within company.

I worked at DTZ (More than a year)

    Pros

good culture and nice people. nice office location in London I had a good team to work with as everyone was civilised and supportive. The surveyors are respectful enough even i came from a different background.

    Cons

lack of good management structure or vision. development for staff is not very clear. It is not often seen as a diverse company as the diversity can be seen a bit poor. Remuneration is average compared to the market.

I worked at DTZ full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good teamwork amongst co workers. Vacation and PTO is one of the best Ive had. Pretty standard health insurance and employees are union members. Location is easily accessible.

    Cons

Management not always supportive of employees and neglect to stand up for proper procedures and protocols. Wages are pretty standard as far as warehousing and distribution. Working in extreme weather can be stressful at times.

    Advice to Management

Hire and promote within your company first before outsourcing. Current employees are knowledgable and capable of advancing within the company but are overlooked.
