I worked at DXC Technology full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Many skilled and professional employees. Teams seem to work well together.

    Cons

Does not seem like the company has figured out its Brand. Seems like the company is in a state of flux or trying to transition to something but again, what is the Brand?

    Advice to Management

Focus on making leadership changes to senior leaders who do not have the vision to create a Brand strategy. Vision for the company seems unclear despite "CLEAR" values. It is not clear on the direction the company is moving, are there pending changes?

I have been working at DXC Technology full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Large company with a variety of skills and locations. Company is trying to focus on " as a service" offerings instead of obsolete outsourcing

    Cons

Mike Lawrie has cut benefits and the company even fired a vice president recently whose stock options were about to vest. No more official vacation time, probably to avoid costs in states and countries that require reimbursing unused vacation time. They offer 401( k ) match for the current year only the following year if you are still in full-time employment, so hope you don't get laid off in the last part of the... year.

    Advice to Management

Don't think that you can pay below the industry average for programmers and expect to retain great talent. Short-sighted policy to make Wall Street happy.

I have been working at DXC Technology full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Client Opportunities, Networking, Good technical education

    Cons

-No relevant training for Agile (DXC University uses PMI version) -Lack of leadership buy in for change -Rest of organization is traditional IT, which ultimately smothers any effort of effectively changing the center -Heavy PM reporting, lack of Agile reporting methods -Process over People, which speaks volumes about the organization Many companies claim they are Agile to attract people, but ultimately use it as... a guise. The center uses the terminology, but lacks any coaching on how to facilitate the ceremonies at scale. Reporting meetings are daily and don't hold value besides stakeholder appreciation for traditional metrics.

    Advice to Management

Become the center you claimed you wanted to be and start pushing back on the constant need for new compliance standards every week. Leadership outside the center needs to be aligned or this location will continue to degrade. The point of the center was to adopt Agile, not pervert it with Scrumfall and other half-adopted methods.

I worked at DXC Technology full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are great people who work at the company and I had a great team. Lower levels of management were very supportive. Compensation and benefits were good.

    Cons

Upper management are greedy and inept. Their policy is to give one day's notice for workforce reductions. They buy companies and cut important resource personnel to save money. Their internal infrastructure is terrible with inadequate support. Also, never expect even a cost of living raise.

    Advice to Management

Continue to go for the bonuses and quick profits. You will soon go the way of EDS.

    Pros

Great people to work with. Great PTO benefit. Management is awesome.

    Cons

CEO sucks. Old school guy that can't seem to know how to run a technology company. He only worries about job reduction to meet profit. Will never be a true tech company. They CAN'T even supply employees at the center with a decent coffee and a coffee machine! What a joke! Management have over 100 reports to deal with just due to the amount of cutback this company have done!

    Advice to Management

    Management keep being great!
