I worked at DYNIS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You'd think their buyout by MasTec in Jan 2014 would have been a lifeline for the company but not so much. If you're a construction worker you're golden. Only 'pro' would be that the company isn't strapped for money anymore.

    Cons

VERY antiquated systems. Management reminds me of Office Space. Gossip, gossip, gossip.

    Advice to Management

Let workers work... that's why you hired them

I worked at DYNIS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

We were a small company that felt like family. Like the show, Cheers, the CEO greeted you and knew your name! Each new employee was walked around the office and introduced to all employees. Everyone worked together for the greater good of the telecommunication projects we held contracts for and encouraged the growth and success of our company

    Cons

Being a small company in a competitive industry we were unable to compete against some of the larger firms. We were purchased by one of the larger companies and initially it seemed to be a win-win for Dynis. However, the new company has practically downsized the entire staff hence the family atmosphere has been broken.

    Advice to Management

Cherish the employees that helped to make the business successful.

I worked at DYNIS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company did focus on key customer requirements of staff, benefits and ability to work schedule to adhere to customers activity needs.

    Cons

Technical tools needed to perform updating and communicating with customer were not always available. Mastec transition not a pleasant one for former Dynis employees.

    Advice to Management

Bonus promises to senior managers that were removed due to poor performance of other portfolios and team members and negative experience for myself and others.

I worked at DYNIS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are great but are beat down by extremely poor leadership.

    Cons

The words I would use to describe dynis: unprofessional, poor work quality, no leadership, managed by intimidation and threats, no desire to do quality work for their customers. No respect for employees, hostile environment.

    Advice to Management

You will never be successful micromanaging your employees and not providing professional leadership within your organization. Your present relationship with your main customer truly shows the quality of your leadership and services delivered.
