I worked at DaVita Medical Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They do have telecommuting positions there. I thought there was a rough transition in management, back in 2016, but I thought management overall advocated for the Telehealth nurses overall

    Cons

I thought that the variety of calls was somewhat challenging.

I have been working at DaVita Medical Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Working here has provided me with a lot of healthcare knowledge and it allowed me to enhance my resume. Flexible schedule work schedules.

    Cons

Not much room to move up in management unless someone quits or gets fired. You are expected to work weekend and all holidays due to the patient support call center being 24hrs.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to treat everyone equal. Learn how to build sub groups within the department so that 1 person is not expected to remember 50 different process because it can become stressful. Increase in pay would help decrease the number of employees that are leaving your department.

    Pros

It was the type of job where not one day went by without the employee always learning at least one more detail about the job which was not mentioned in advance.

    Cons

no cons, only pros in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

keep doing what you did when I was around, because it worked to train and prepare me, so I figure if it worked well for me it should work well for anybody actually interested in doing their best on the job, daily. in godd id d

I have been working at DaVita Medical Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Colleagues are great! Awesome teamwork , flexible hours and the benefits are great. Scrubs are very comfortable to wear and we are given an allowance every year for about a pair.

    Cons

Pay is very little for the amount of work given. Too many patients and not enough staff for new patient referrals which can cause major conflict between the receptionist and the patient.

    Advice to Management

Not enough disciplinary action which causes more work on other employees. Pay attention

    Pros

Cutting edge ACO operation. Good at cost containment.

    Cons

Low end, mass medical mill. Integrity not valued. Profits over people. (this is prior to the acquisition by DaVita, so this may have changed). Low wages. Many employees on government assistance (a la Walmart).

    Advice to Management

Slow down, hire better, pay better. Apply policies consistently. Show more integrity in your dealings. The stated culture and values do not match reality.
