Pros
Flexibility patient nurse relationship education Giving life
Cons

Pros
Pretty straight training system. You do learn and can advance if you work hard.. If you like to work independently you have that option also. You can be left alone to work for the most part. If you just wanna work and keep your head down you can do that. Plenty OT when its busy.
Cons
Underpaid! Big time. Starting is 39 bucks. On calls shift actually becomes a regular night shift each week. Technically you work 3 days and 1 night a week. They try and advertise the 1 on call night a week as STAT only cases but they call you in for routine cases with no night shift differential or night pay. Just you coming at night getting regular pay. They call it on call shift but its really you coming it later to complete the remaining assignments for the fourth shift of your week, not considered OT either. Ruins your sleep patterns and you dont recover because next week here comes another night shift after you've already work 3 days shift. Also schedulers(ppl who information you about new orders) that work in the office get real rude. Not fun being lectured about clinical needs by someone that have zero medical background. Scheduler slowly begin to act like your boss. Its terrible. If you have any sense of independence and experience you will absolutely hate schedulers.

Pros
Flexibility, training, tools. Can really grow with this company.
Cons
Turn over with nurses and patient care techs is constant and at most locations struggle with this. So lots of time trying to find a nurse or tech to cover a shift, and you have to always be recruiting. Don't rely on recruiters to get your staffing problems solved. You have to find, hire, and train folks that fit, if a recruiter sends you a rare gem take it. Just don't bet on it. Work/life balance is tough. There is also too much workload put on most of the positions for them to consistently be successful. Either Davita or CMS is regularly wanting a new change, and additional requirement, etc. Its just expected that is gets done. If you have a seasoned clinical team with a decent attitude this role can be good. Outside of that it can be a difficult job.

Pros
It's incredibly fulfilling, you genuinely help people, it truly is a specialty, the PTO accrual is amazing, it varies based on years with the company but I make 10 hours every two weeks, I've taken several major vacations this year and plan to go on a third in a couple months, vision plan is great, specialist copay is like $35, regular Dr is $20, the company itself really does care about people, they're really inclusive worth trans people, they offer gender affirming surgeries after I think a year and work with a network of Drs that want to help the trans community.
Cons
I work in acutes and the hours are insane. Short staffed, I'm in acutes and we could leave anywhere between 12pm-12am (both being rare but I have gotten out at or past midnight a couple times; clinics are much more structured but WAY less pay), work life balance is horrible (but again, it varies greatly between clinics/hospitals). My biggest advice, FIGHT FOR YOUR PAY. Switch clinics if you have to, go to acutes where there's a bigger budget, find a good manager and team or they will absolutely run you to the bone. I've spoken to so many techs around the US and there's no reason to be paid less than $21 or closeeven starting out. No less than $25 for 6 years experience. Don't let them under pay you. Dialysis definitely isn't for everyone though and it really is hard work. Don't let anyone tell you it's easy. Sometimes (a lot of the time) the company comes off very... how should I put this... "drink the kool-aid" if you know what I mean, but they mean well... I think lol

Pros
-Working from home -Company Culture -Decent benefits -Teammates
Cons
-Most of management is decent, but it can be a miserable and frustrating experience if you're placed with the wrong supervisor -Micromanaging -Management cares too much about bottom line results rather then their employees' well being or overlooks more important issues -Often heavy, stressful workloads - pay is considerably low for the amount of work they expect from you

Pros
Great introductory position for anyone interested in starting a career in Healthcare. Get in , let them pay for your certification and get out!
Cons
-Expect 6-8 patients per shift despite 4:1 ratio -Get everything in writing, management will lie every chance they get to keep you in the door There is no room for advancement unless you are okay with being deceptive. - Know the company policies but also know you will be instructed to go against policy to meet goals - This company does not care for its employees or patients. I have witnessed multiple safety and policy issues, filed reports and watch management scramble to cover up the problems long enough for the investigations to wrap up then it's back to the same unsafe and corrupt practices.
