    Pros

    Great new building, good vacation

    Cons

High work loads with no chance to increase head count no matter increasing volumes

    Advice to Management

    Good luck to new CEO

I worked at Daimler Trucks North America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits plus Mercedes Benz lease program.

    Cons

High stress, long hours, weekends and antiquated facilities.

    Advice to Management

Improve equipment so it's not a battle every day just to get the job done. Stop the open air meetings where managers and supervisors get chewed out on a microphone within ear shot of hourly employees.

  3. "Good"

    Pros

Great benefits, including vacations and health care.

    Cons

The work environment can be a bit lethargic. Many are there just to collect a paycheck at the end of the week.

  4. "Good Pay, Harsh Corporate Culture"

    Pros

The pay and benefits are very good, including possible company car. On site day care is expensive but convenient. The cafeteria has good food.

    Cons

It seems like there is a lot of competition at certain levels and even as a manager there is not much room for decisions.

    Pros

Benefits are great, tons of time off. Management is fair. The work load is not that bad and adequate time is given.

    Cons

The pay structure is not well known or fair. Sometimes it can seam like management is playing favorites. Review system lacks.

I have been working at Daimler Trucks North America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Pay & benefits are competitive.

    Cons

Members of management, as well as employees that deal with contractors take kick backs. They are given anything from branded clothing, taken out to expensive dinners, trips, sporting events to lavish gifts.

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to open their eyes, and ask questions. No employee whether they come from salary or hourly should be allowed to accept gifts from a vendor.
