I have been working at Dairy Queen part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I do not know if this is only related to the franchise where I am currently working, but the ambient could not be better. The team is great and you see something that might sound silly but is crucial to feel comfortable working. Teamwork. That kind of teamwork where you need to do something and somebody else does it because you already did it twice? Well that kind.

Management is great, they accommodated my hours to my other job schedule, I can't complain.

If you work on front counter you will find a huge amount of nice people to interact with, I think this is related to the history of the franchise.

You get 50% discount for being an employee. You'll love those chicken strips with honey mustard c:

    Cons

To be honest, nothing to complain about. Just that sometimes you will find people that leaves the tables full of stuff or damage the bathrooms on purpose, but that is people, nothing to do with DQ.

I worked at Dairy Queen part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pros are, great people to serve, flexible hours, customers are understanding, customers were patient, and very interesting projects and baked goods.

    Cons

Unfair management, abusive coworkers, not enough business, to many complaints, the kitchen staff does not cook food through well enough, unkind attitudes, irresponsible employees, and very unorganized.

    Advice to Management

If I were you, I would accept people for the way they are, instead of dragging them down, build them up and push the very best out of them.
