I worked at Dairy Queen full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Its privately owned and the owners are amazing. They'll work with you and help you anyway they can as long as you show up and do your job.

    Cons

During the summer it can get a little crazy. People literally lined up out the doors.

    Advice to Management

Work together with crew like Stanford does and crew will appericate working for you more and work harder.

I worked at Dairy Queen part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Getting paid above minimum wage, fifty percent discount on everything on the menu and free sodas. Sometimes you'll get good managers.

    Cons

They'll expect you to work your butt off and then give you nothing in return. They're greedy and absolutely refuse to give raises.

    Advice to Management

Treat your workers like family. I had some good managers and some bad ones, and nobody has ever quit because they have a good manager. Don't be stingy either. Reward your employees when they work hard.

    Pros

Get discounts on food and free cake for your birthday

    Cons

They change/adjust your hours for payroll, they cut your hours for no reasons, they don't properly train you and disrespect you in front of the whole crew and customers.

    Advice to Management

They need to go back to school and study the proper classes on how to run a successful business. They need to separate their personal and business life.
